Information
Plön is an exceptionally soft plush wide-wale cord with a bold, luxurious rib. Its silky-soft surface and subtle sheen
show off the shades of dusty pink, beige, khaki and ochre beautifully. Despite its fluffy feel, the fabric is remarkably
durable: with more than 90,000 Martindale cycles, it is suitable for projects that need to withstand frequent use.
Plön can be used over larger areas or as a deliberately soft accent. It pairs particularly well with firmer fabrics such
as Rom decorative fabric for added structure; patterned cotton wovens such as Dotty or Heide can also create
attractive contrasts.
Sewing tip: the generous pile naturally releases loose fibres when cut; vacuuming the fabric and cut edges immediately afterwards makes further sewing much cleaner.
Uses: Bags, backpacks, furniture and covers, floor cushions, poufs, upholstery, cushions and dog beds.
