Information
French Terry Maike is a high-quality, solid-dyed sweatshirt fabric in proven Swafing quality. This unbrushed French Terry can be worn all year round and is made from cotton with elastane, making it pleasantly soft, stretchy and comfortable against the skin. The characteristic looped texture on the reverse of French Terry ensures a comfortable feel and good moisture absorption. At approx. 245 g/m², Maike is heavier than jersey but lighter than many classic sweatshirt fabrics. The fabric moves comfortably with the body while also being durable, making Maike suitable for a wide range of comfortable garments for women, men and children.
Maike FS27 is available in the current trend colours for spring/summer 2027. The colours are coordinated with the FS27 collection and can be combined beautifully with each other as well as with many patterned fabrics and other qualities from the entire Swafing FS27 collection.
Uses:
French Terry Maike is particularly versatile and is ideal for sweatshirts, hoodies, tops, sweatshirt dresses, sweat jackets and lightweight jackets. It is also a wonderful choice for shorts, skirts, sweatpants, leggings and comfortable loungewear.
Maike is also an excellent choice for children's clothing, as the fabric is soft, stretchy, durable and comfortable to wear while allowing plenty of freedom of movement. Accessories such as beanies, hats and snoods can also be made from French Terry Maike.
