Malibu brings the joy and lightness of summer to soft cotton jersey. Christiane Zielinski created the charming motifs in watercolour, telling little stories of sunny holidays, lazy days and fun by the water. Relaxed animals, palm trees, ice cream, swim rings and cheerful rainbows create a carefree holiday atmosphere. The hippos, capybaras and sloths enjoying the sweet summer life are particularly charming. Whether heading to the beach with a surfboard and ice cream, relaxing by the water with a swim ring and sunglasses or simply taking it easy in a hammock, the playful scenes are full of character. The animal motifs are complemented by colourful watercolour rainbows with clouds, suns and little hearts. Cheerful shades of pink, turquoise and orange emphasise the summery feel of the collection.
The harmoniously coordinated colourways combine beautifully with each other and with matching solid-coloured fabrics.
